All applicants for admissions to the Master of Health Informatics Program must first meet the requirements of the program, and the UC Davis Office of Graduate Studies. Please see Admission Requirements for more information.

Application Process

  1. Complete online application
  2. Pay the application fee, $105.00 (domestic), $125.00 (international), payable online with credit card or e-check
  3. Applications are reviewed by the Health Informatics Admissions Committee once all necessary documentation has been received and verified.
  4. A phone interview with the Admissions Committee may be requested.


Application Components

  1. Statement of Purpose: An essay explaining the reasons you would like to pursue an education in Health Informatics at UC Davis.
  2. A Personal/Professional History Statement
  3. Three letters of recommendation from academic or professional references submitted electronically within the application. Letters of recommendation are uploaded by the requested referee.
  4. TOEFL or IELTS scores (international students only)

**Please note: We DO NOT require the GRE as part of our admissions requirements. Any GRE scores submitted cannot be considered in evaluating your application.**


Transcripts

After completing the online application, applicants will be sent information on how to upload their transcripts.
