Endowed faculty chairs and professorships support a diverse, talented faculty who discover and share knowledge to help solve the nation’s most pressing health-care problems. These endowed positions honor accomplished faculty, and serve as important incentives that enable the school to draw the best teachers and researchers from around the nation.

With Gratitude

The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing gratefully acknowledges the donors who generously invest in endowed faculty chairs and professorships to attract and retain faculty leaders of the highest caliber.

  • Dignity Health Dean’s Chair in Nursing Leadership
This endowed deanship provides funds, for use at the dean’s discretion, that support teaching, research or outreach. Ultimately, the endowment provides the dean the opportunity to realize her vision and advance the mission of the School of Nursing.
  • Western Health Advantage Professorship
This fund will provide financial support for teaching, research, or outreach for the individual who is named to the professorship and may also support other activities that further the mission of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing.
