Philosophy of Care
All children with known or suspected heart disease, along with their families, should be evaluated and treated with tenacity, ferver, and compassion.
Dr. Dayan is a pediatric cardiologist at the Pediatric Heart Center, a division of the UC Davis Health System. His clinical interests include the evaluation and management of all ranges of congenital and acquired heart disease, from the simplest murmur to the most complex anatomic variations. His focuses primariy on cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) in the pediatric population, as well as echocardiography, especially in utero diagnosis of congenital heart disease.
In addition to his clinical interests, Dr. Dayan believes strongly in education on all levels. Career-long learning is a critical component of modern medicine. He also enjoys teaching fellows, residents, medical students, patients and families.
