Rebecca Freeman strives to embrace the unique challenges, perspectives and needs of every individual. Genetic Medicine is personalized for each patient, and she works to empower individuals and families in need of a diagnosis or healthcare management.

Rebecca’s goal is to promote informed decision making and collaborative care, emphasizing patient education and advocacy.

 

Clinical Interests

Rebecca Freeman provides genetic counseling services for pediatric and adult patients and their families who are at risk for or have been diagnosed with genetic conditions.  She sees patients by herself and alongside physicians in the Division of Genomic Medicine. 

She is especially interested in in the unique needs of LGBTQ+ patients as well as patients with differences/disorders of sex development (DSD).  She is the program coordinator for the Enzyme Replacement Therapy (ERT) clinic serving individuals with Lysosomal Storage Disorders.
