Philosophy of Care

I believe there is no greater privilege than interfacing with children and helping them meet their potential. Caring for critically ill children and supporting their families is my passion and gives me the opportunity to help children meet their full potential. I am excited and honored to join the UC Davis Children's Hospital team. 

Clinical Interests

Dr. Siefkes practices in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit at UC Davis Children's Hospital. 

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Siefkes enjoys teaching medical students, residents, nurses and other medical staff about pediatric critical care. She particularly enjoys using simulation as an educational tool. Her research interests include early detection of critical congenital heart disease in newborns and outcomes related to pediatric critical care medicine.
