The public is invited to batter up for a great cause at the fourth annual Emily Love Invitational softball tournament. The 2016 co-ed tournament will be held Saturday, Oct. 22 at Bartholomew Sports Park in Elk Grove, beginning at 9 a.m.

“Emily was a cancer patient at UC Davis and the overwhelming care, love and superior technology saved her life,” said Jason Love, Emily’s father. “Children's Miracle Network at UC Davis is forever in our hearts and we love to use this great event as a platform to help support and spread the word about CMN.”

There is a $500 team fee and a $1,000 team fee, which includes field sponsorship. Proceeds benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at UC Davis. Money raised will stay local and go back to the UC Davis Children’s Hospital to support programs, patient care, equipment and research.

For team details, contact Jason Love at 916-216-9858 or jasondeanlove@gmail.com.
